Today is December 27, 2022 and it's almost a new year. I have so many ideas and expectations for 2023. One, make more investments instead of wasting my money on things I don't really need. Two, focusing and grinding really hard on graduating by the end of the year. Three, have more positivity in my life instead of negativity.
So let's talk about the first one, investment. I really want to become a streamer on twitch and game more to see if I can make revenue and build an audience. I feel like this is a great investment because I just bought a new gaming PC for gaming, streaming, and potentially starting a business. I am 22 years old and I am so ready to start my life and just make grown women decisions and actions. Having a disability does make it harder to stay positive and just be confident in yourself. I want to build my own house, buy a new car, and have a life where I don't have to worry about who's going to help me do this or that. But I'm getting off of track....
Number two was focusing and grinding on graduating by the end of 2023. I only have a few more classes after the spring semester but it kinda got pushed up to even more classes because I failed a class or two. It was really hard to focus this past year and sometimes I do think that I have ADHD. Also, I feel that sometimes I'm not smart enough and I know that's all in my head, but that's just how I feel. This past semester has been so hard and some days I really wanted to go to our counselor on campus, but I didn't. This past week, I started on some vitamins, and I really hope that they help me this upcoming year be more productive and really focus on what's important.
Number three was having more positivity in my life. So, this past year I've became more aware of my surroundings and the things that people say and I realize what kind of energy I want in my life. The past few years I've let a lot of things slide and I realized that those things were bullying or picking on or just being nice, because they feel bad for you. So basically, my eyes have opened up to the real world. This upcoming year, I don't want any fake, negative, toxic, bad energy around me because that makes me want to give off the same energy that a person gives to me. I want to be the happy, outgoing, goofy girl that a lot of people see me as. I know that there's still going to be bad days, but I really want a lot more of happy moments this year.
I really hope you guys enjoy this post. I really want to start off the new year speaking my truth and being more vulnerable.
Happy New Year's and Love,
Kayla
